Why We Built This Site
Tennessee provides several public access routes, but each answers a different question. The Meigs County Circuit Court Clerk holds local dockets, charging papers, judgments, and dispositions. The Sheriff's Department keeps its incident, warrant, booking, and jail records. TBI maintains the statewide criminal-history repository and registry, while TDOC publishes a limited felony offender lookup. We assembled the verified contacts, official links, known fees, and practical request steps so those boundaries are easier to follow.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Tennessee court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role has clear limits:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or apply Tennessee law to a particular charge or case
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, phone number, address, or access rule
Only the originating office, such as the clerk, sheriff, or TBI, can issue an official record. The document must come from that custodian.
